At ICE equestrian center, head trainer Isaac Leffkowitz specializes in foundation horsemanship to bring each horse and rider to its highest potential. Whatever its discipline may be, our training building blocks start with groundwork and work in-hand. Doing so ensures our horses get a fair opportunity to understand what is being asked of them and is in a willing mindset to accept training and new information.
Isaac utilizes specific techniques and exercises to supple and softens the different groups of muscles and joints in each horse. This is used to create a relaxed and willing equine athlete that possess patience and obedience for the show ring. Isaac’s show schedule specializes in hunter-jumpers but he has also shown western pleasure, rodeo, hunt seate, gaited horses, pleasure driving, and dressage. He believes all horses should have the same classical foundation so they can reach their highest potential. ICE equestrian center facility is backed up to miles of horse trails including the Florida horse park and Florida greenway, and all of our horses take trail rides through the woods to insure variety into their daily routines.
